 Received 12/22/12

Hey there Barbara!

Just want you to know that you guys blessed my kids' socks OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They opened their gifts today and my goodness, there just aren't adequate words to write that would describe all the love, joy, gratitude, elation and complete happiness!
I took some pics but I'm going to have to email them to you in a few different emails if ok, as the files are too large. Is that ok?  Even in the midst of all the yuck we have going on right now, we have so much to be thankful for and you and The Amanda Riley Foundation and all the wonderful poeple who helped are one of those things. You have made a difference in this family's life. <3
With hearts just full of love, we thank you.
The Motts

Your Message = My daughter is eight and is being treated at Scottish Rite's Aflac Center where she received an Amanda Riley Foundation goody bag. She was so thrilled and all smiles!! She had fun with the goodies while she was in the hospital and couldn't wait to take her brothers and sister to Chik-Fil-A with the gift card when she was able to come home. Thank you for all the smiles you put on her face- both at the hospital and at the restaurant. I can't tell you how proud and happy she was treating her siblings to lunch and having a great time with them....................................................Amanda will always have a special spot in our hearts....Rena

On behalf of our daughter, Turner, we want to thank the foundation (and Kerry) for thinking of her.  Although only at UGA one semester, Turner and Jordan were immediately blessed with new and caring friends.

The gifts from the foundation were so generous and considerate.  We were all quite surprised.  However,  considering her initial stay in the hospital is now at 20 days, she has been able to use and enjoy everything that was sent.  No doubt, the Kindle Fire has been  wonderful and has helped her to pass the time.  The gift package definitely accomplished the foundation's mission of bringing a smile to Turner's face.

God bless you and your family for establishing the foundation in honor of Amanda.  Donna and I are so grateful for the prayers and support Turner has received.

Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

First of all just want to say thank you for what you do. My grandson is preston and when you sent the care package it meant so much to my daughter Ashley it  gave her something to smile about at a sad time.
Im writing to see if there is a program that can help her with repairs to her car. we had it towed to my fathers home in calhoun ga and he thinks it needs the engine rebuilt but were not sure all we know is that the oil pump is out. She has borrowed a car but it has no air or heat and it is getting cold. She has use of my vehicle whenever she needs it but its rough on gas and she doesnt like to ask for help. She works full time and is a single parent and in my opinion is unbealeavbly strong with what all she has been dealt.Vehicle repairs are expensive and she just doesnt have a large amt of cash but can make payments ..  I dont know what or if there is any type of help with something like this. If you know of somewhere we can look please let us know. you can contact me or Ashley Redman . thank you so much

I would like to say again thank you so much for truly bringing a smile to our faces through Tyler's stem cell transplant and again the other day with the chick Fil A card in the mail. I am forever grateful for the generosity of your organization. We really don't have any family and what energy I have had has gone to maintaining my full time job (for insurance) and then trying to keep my head above water with insurance claims etc. Then you all contacted us and truly sent tyler something that really brought a smile to his face..... something I didn't have to complete a 10 page application and compete for....especially at a time... I could not have done so even if I had wanted. To have strangers reach out just melts my heart and I look forward to a future when we can truly pay it forward.  I  just saw your recent list of the kids you are all helping and wanted to give a little back. It is truly just a tiny amount paid through pay pal... but I hope it will at least go toward giving another mom and child a smile. God bless your organization!

I am Ansley Arnette"s maternal grandmother. My daughter Paige read us your letter tonight at a family gathering. My husband & I were moved to tears. I had seen you & your husband on the news several days/weeks ago, ( time runs between oral chemo & infused chemo these days). I/We can't thank you enough for your kindness. It is good to know that someone in our community has been through the same thing we are now experiencing. Ansley's Daddy is a Brookwood graduate, her Mom graduated from Parkview. We have this area of Gwinnett County covered as far as football rivalry goes.Thank you again for your kind gesture. Our heart goes out to you for your loss.
