Supporting Children Battling Cancer
      Making a difference...one SMILE at a time!

We recently granted our 1st SMILE to Olivia.  She is 12-years-old and is battling AML Leukemia. Olivia was initially diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma back in 2014 after finding a tumor in her armpit. She underwent treatment and was in remission until November 2015 when she became deathly ill once again. Unfortunately now she is battling  a secondary cancer called leukemia.  She will soon be entering the hospital for a bone marrow transplant and her stay will be no less than a month.  She has a tough couple of months ahead of her so we wanted to give her a special day not thinking about cancer.  That is what our initiative of 1000 Reasons to SMILE is all about.  Making kids smile and taking their mind off of having cancer.

When asked what she would do with a $1000.00 she said go on a shopping spree, so that is what we did. We not only took her on a shopping spree, we sent her in style... in the largest limo I have ever seen courtesy of Hennessy Transportation!  We met Ms Olivia at her house where she, her sister Emma and her mom rode the this beautiful limo. We then started our shopping spree and Olivia took the lead, shopping wherever she wanted and getting anything she wanted. She got clothes, shoes, phone and IPad case, make-up and a bear from Build a Bear. She also urged her sister to get some items too as she wanted to share her special day with her. We then went to Olive Garden for lunch where she was treated like royalty.
